Jabiru Aerodrome Upgrade

Jabiru Aerodrome Upgrade

One of our consultants in WA undertook gap analysis, business case, feasibility study and scoping study to upgrade the Jabiru aerodrome over several years. He managed the works and services required for the aerodrome to become a certified (Class 2) runway suitable for to take aircraft with up to 37 passengers. This involved extensive liaison with the users and owners of the aerodrome as well as the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. He developed the scope, specifications and design of the upgrade as well as managed the tendering process. Works were managed by the aerodrome owner; Rio Tinto/Energy Resources of Australia.
